Catching up with 2008

The great thing about blogging is that it can fill the place of journals, scrapbooks, and letters or e-mails all in one shot. Since I've determined that as much as I would like to be the perfect mother, with the perfectly clean house, well behaved children, up to date scrapbooks, all without sacrificing my gym time, or the dinner waiting for my husband when he walks through the door each night...I am not that woman. Therefore, I will attempt to blog as I go and then make it into my scrapbook later. I've heard that companies will make a book for you, all bound and everything which is looking very good at this point in my life!

Anyway, since my goal is to try this for 2008, I have some catching up to do on the months we've missed.

Welcome to our blog!

Hard to believe I know, but after many requests from friends and family we are finally joining the blogging world! I've debated doing the blog thing for months worrying that I wouldn't know how to post things, wouldn't be as clever as my friends, and so on.... Actually I must admit after talking with a friend a month or two ago I got so excited that I came home, set up an account, and posted the family pictures. As you can see that's where the excitement ended for a while, but here I am ready to give it another shot!
